The blue LED in the plug is a nice addition, too. At $20, the Monster Outlets To Go Power Strip is probably the cheapest thing that Monster makes. But seriously, for the price it as a value compared to similar units from other brands.
Buy this adaptor with it:All in One Universal Travel Power Adapter for US, UK, EU, AU I plug all my 220 friendly items (computers, cameras) into it and it works perfectly. One of the best travel accessories I have ever purchased. I live in Sweden and use the outlet on a daily basis.
Anyway, buy this. Here are the reasons why I love this:* looks great* very compact and light* 4 outlets is perfect (phone, computer, shaver, camera charger)* great spacing of the outlets, fits all of my adapters* quality material* my only cons, is that the LED is a little brightThe only thing I ever need is a plug adapter for different countries. I travel often and when you're always on the go you'd want something light and highly functional. You can't afford to have problems when you're thousands of miles away from home.
However, it still is a nice compact item and I will still use it. Although this compact electrical multi-outlet is handy for traveling in a motor home, it doesn't have surge protection built in, so I was disappointed in that.
Some of the other "octopus" outlets will do the job, but are too bulky for travel. Not only does the Outlets To Go provide this relief, it has multiple outlets. This fits my needs perfectly. I usually carry a short, 6-inch extension cord from Home Depot because some wall outlets are crammed too tightly to allow easy access.
